A tut I recently did for digitally adding rain. I needed to do so for a recent banner I did, and couldn't find a tut anywhere. So I did one myself. Adding RainFor: JASC/Corel PSP 11, but can be used with most any digital program I'd say.Okay, so get the banner/photo you're wanting to edit and open it up in PSP. I'm using this banner: Go to Layers - Duplicate. You should now have to identical layers. Make sure the 2nd/top one is selected. Go to Adjust - Add/Remove Noise and click "add noise". Choose the settings for the noise. Make sure it's Uniform and the little box for monochrome is checked. Set your noise level to around 30; Whatever looks best. For this picture I'm using 23. It should now look something like this. Now, go to Adjust - Blur - Motion Blur. Set your blur to an angel around 150.00 and the strength to around 45. It should now look kinda like this. Now, set the opacity of the 2nd layer to around 60. Your graphic should look something like this. Play around with the noise levels, blur strengths and angles and layer opacities until you find what you think looks best. Every image needs slightly different settings. That's it! ---------- So, whatcha thinkin'?
