This was written in Paint Shop Pro XI, but it's definetely translatable to PS or other programs. Take your image, crop it, resized it to 100x100 pixels and sharpen it once. I'll be using the below image of Lyn-Z Way. 001. Duplicate the image twice. Set both layers to screen at 100% opacity. 002. Duplicate the base again, bring it to the top, and set it to soft light at 100%. You should have something like this: 003. Duplicate the base again, bring it to the top, desaturate it (make sure it's completely grey), and set it to overlay at 100%. Merge all layers. 004. Create a new layer and fill it with #FFDFAD and set it to multiply, opacity 100%. 005. Create another new layer and fill it with #030437 and set it to exclusion, opacity 100%.Your image should now look something like this: 006. Take the below gradient and set it to soft light, opacity 100%.007. Paste the same gradient again and set it to burn (Color burn in PS, I believe), opacity 66%.008. Create a new layer and fill it with #000000 and set it to burn, opacity 15%.Your image should now look something like this: 009. Take the texture below and set it to lighten, opacity 100%. Move it around to accomadate your image. 010. Now just add the text and brushes of your choice, if you'd like. My finished product was this: So, whatcha think?
